May we each find and accept our whole selves and share them with others.

Welcome to the psychotherapy practice of Dr. Susan McConnaughy in Manhattan’s Chelsea district and online in telehealth sessions.

In my practice, I help individuals work through the things that cause them anxiety or depression, painful relationship dynamics that defeat them, or experiences of early trauma …as well as new chapters in their lives and new developments in their identities.

I value building strong relationships with people of all backgrounds and perspectives. I believe that working across our differences can be a great strength and a benefit to our community.

When we meet, you will find someone who listens wholeheartedly with mind, body and spirit. Together, we will listen for both your past injuries (resolved and partially resolved) and for the ways you want to grow but find daunting or hard to imagine.

I am trained in relational analysis and mind/body approaches to trauma: sensorimotor processing, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.

I look forward to meeting you for a consultation to see if we might work well together.

Welcome!
